The method involves two parts being pushed together, one oscillating at a high frequency. This creates friction that heats the metals to a temperature at which they are able to join together. When the oscillation stops, the parts cool to form a forged-quality weld. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOCIAL CHANNELS LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/twi/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TwiLtd/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/twi_ltd Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/twi_ltd/ Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/twiltd/ Newsletter: https://www.twi-global.com/account/newsletter-preferences Email: contactus@twi.co.uk |
