Our core pvp group left DA as we didn't get along with them and they didn't really see eye to eye with our pvp goals. Still the alpha was amazing and AA offered the best MMO experience I have had since lineage2 launch, DAOC, or the first few years of WOW. Field Command was rage.

-Every ship is player made by materials collected and processed
-Every cannon ball is crafted by player gathered materials
-You use collected resources to repair your ships
-PVP matters in this game and it's amazing.

As we were getting ready to head back in the black pear by Shots fired appeared and the PVP continued. The pirates were much better organized and experienced than the others we had been fighting; however, we decided to stay and fight despite dwindling supplies. We ultimately lost to the pirates (Props to SF and FC for their naval combat skills) but still had a great time and enjoyed the PVP as always.

My main goal was purpose was knocking key players off enemy ships and trying to shoot stuff with crazy LOS in ship battles.

::: HOW THIS ALL STARTED:::

This all started with some reds (east faction) killing some of our fishermen and their boat. It led to a quick guild group, along with some friends (thanks to all who came!!), forming and heading east with a single ship. We were able to destroy 5 galleons and one black pearl along with raiding a group of 5 red fishing boats. After that a large group of reds challenged us to come back out to the sea.
