Garfield for the Atari 2600

A game by Atari that never got released. I got it from a zipped folder containing every 2600 game. For more information, PM me.

You play as garfield, hopping along the fence. The flying burgers give you 50 points. Garfield opens his mouth when a burger is on screen, but it adds to your score even if it doesn't land in your mouth.

In the next area, Press down to duck and avoid the potted plant. It takes a life away if you touch it.

After that you're on the roof. Watch out for Odie coming out of the chimney, or you lose a life.

Then the Burgers/Potted Plant rooms repeat, but faster.

Now you're close to the house and Nermal is hanging off the roof. Knock him off to double your score and go to the next room.

After that you're hopping on floating Odies eating burgers.

Then the potted plant stage again, but mind-blowingly fast.

Then the burger stage, but fast.

After that you're on top of floating Odies again, dodging plants. You go back to the first stage again, but you keep your score.


It's a fun little game, the graphics are decent (for atari) and the controls are good. It definitely way better than A Week Of Garfield on NES.
